Hi!
I heard this song today, and I just HAD to do it... :D
So funky, a real oldie, the bassline is played by Verdine White, Earth, Wind & Fire's legendary bassplayer. I just tried to change the bassline at a very few places, according to my taste, which doesn't mean, that I think the original is wrong or something... of course I am nothing like Verdine White. I didn't try to "make it better" as many youtube bassplayers do... I just changed it. Musicians are not machines...
Sorry for bad video quality, I did not make this video at home on my monster PC, I had to use a way slower laptop without enough memory.
Anyway it came out okay. :D

Trying hitting that F# in the verses a bit later :P otherwise, damn that's good for playing by ear. Finally someone understands how neccessary that is! Many thumbs up to you good sir!

That Marcus Miller is my dream bass lol, played it in a local music store today and was BLOWN AWAY! It's so damn clear, it's a complete mind fuck. I thouht it would sound a lot like a regular jazz bass as far as slap goes..but nah. I felt like a pro playing that bad boy. Saving up right now.
