Snippets from Metallica playing One at the Hullabaloo Benefit concert at the Wiltern Theater in LA on May 14, 2008.

-----
I went to the Hullabaloo benefit concert to see Metallica and it was amazing! This is the closest I've been to the band at a concert and it was fantastic. The Wiltern floor has multiple levels, and I was on the first level above the pit, in the front row! I had the best vantage point from which to take pictures and videos (which I did) and I am presenting them here for you to enjoy. I only started recording half way into the show, because I first wanted to enjoy the show without fumbling around with the camera. Also, I never recorded a full song because I wanted to really rock out and enjoy every song, which is difficult to do while holding a camera, so please excuse the cuts/song incompleteness. The setlist was perfect, here it is:

Creeping Death
Fuel
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
...And Justice For All
Sad But True
Disposable Heroes
One
Master Of Puppets
Battery
- - - - -
Last Caress
No Remorse
Enter Sandman
- - - - -
Fight Fire With Fire (w/ Flea)
Seek and Destroy

  • nah it was no suprise gig for a radio station, it was actually a benefit concert set up by flea from the red hot chili peppers, the radio stations never announced the show. I found out because I was checking out a radio station website because they are headlining a festival tomorrow out here and I clicked there name and it brought me to their site and it said they were having another LA show, a much smaller and private one, tickets were $200 each, im broke now =(

  • i agree, but with only 100 people in a pit, and the pit is the size of a shoe, no body really moshed, there was a little, but damn security had a pretty kick back night, i think i saw one crowed surfer, hahaha, awesome show though.
