I wrote a book called "Beethoven's Immortal." It is about who the Immortal Beloved really was. My take on it is that the reason nobody ever found out who she was is because she is from the future, so it is a time travel story. The thing I liked about this movie was they showed Beethoven as a "flawed" man.
He was not put on a pedestal,and rightly so.
This is no "idol worship" film..
It is only his music that is immortal.

There is a story behind Moonlight. I didn't know what it was, but I used my own memory and my experience to add emotion to it, and my teacher was shocked that I would do that... for other composers' songs, I can't play with feeling because I don't know the specific mood. But this one is definitely about a broken heart and shattered dream, and of course about love... and torment and finally, death.
