I went to the Tupelo Hardware Store and he told my friend and I the EXACT same story. He must repeat this every day. The funny thing is that he doesn't leave out any details...lol...When I was there, they had a black "x" on the floor in front of the counter where Elvis stood. This man was very nice and he talked to my friend and I for over an hour (the store was closed)!! He told us the story of Joe Perry, too.If you are an Elvis fan,this is a must see after seeing Elvis' birth house in Tupelo.
