They got a grant to "improve" the recreation area. It was supposed to open in June. Then September. Now they are having issues getting permits for the well water that is drinkable in the bathrooms, etc. They don't want to open until all the facilities can be used. Everybody: please please don't sneak in there because if they catch you doing it they may make more constrictive rules that will spoil it for the rest of us. They actually have a "NO SCUBA diving" sign in place.

This is a very good dive. I have over 40 dives here and the deepest we went was 120ft to the end where they closed it off to the caves. The cavern area is huge and looks like a multi level house inside. Lots of fish and eels to see plus other small caverns... one of which was about 20ft x 5ft full of catfish and eels.
This will always be a favorite of mine.

What's with the 'clown fish?' I had to laugh at the cheeze whiz! Cute. We fed the fish and eels hotdogs, they loved it. So do you live in that area, in Tallahassee? I don't any longer. I'm in San Diego. Been here for a while and love it. And yes, now this group is familiar. I don't dive anymore because of this cavern. Loved the silver pockets of air...

Wierd, it looked like one T Mat and he happens to have a buddy with the same name as your other buddy. They are supposed to re-open Morrison in two weeks!

Yup I'm one T'd Mat's other buddy you refer to. I did all the recording except my brief appearances. It's about darn time they open up that place!

Hehe glad you liked it. Third eye blind is a great group, best known for their song Semi-charmed life. I was using a digital camera in a very small housing and a light with a narrow beam so its a wonder it came out decent.
