Better than Carlos Santana? Okay. He kinda sounds like a muted Kermit the Frog. But better than Gregg Rolie? No way!. Rolie's one of my all-time fave lead vocals. (Unless you were talking about when the whole Santana Band -- Kermit, Rolie, and the rest -- sang together... They still sounded pretty cool, in my book. I'd say it's a wash.)

musically, i like Santana's cover, but Willie was a better singer than Greg Rollie and Carlos Santana :)
