  • When you go to Sri Lanka for yourselves, you see that the post-war situation is not that dire compared to Afghanistan. You certainly see that there is no "genocide" which is used to gain sympathy for asylum, especially when the camps are overlooked by aid agencies. In fact, Tamils make up the largest number of employees in the tea industry as well as running many businesses in Colombo. Tamils are also working in high ranked positions in banks so it would be counterproductive to commit genocide.

  • u realise tho that the asylum seekers in the boat in indonesia lived in indonesia for 5 years, some have even married indonesian wives. and their leader alex left sri lanka at age 5, lived in canada and was deported from canada for gang violence. that guy is nothing but a canadian criminal seeking asylum in australia.

  • Do you think this mother used to sleep on a king bed than sleeping on a mat on the flour in her house.The west got to learn the reality before comments on Asia related things.
