In a successful negotiation everyone wins. The objective should be agreement, not victory.

Negotiation is something that we do all the time not only in business but also in our social lives. This is one area where your personality is seriously tested and how you respond to the situation reflects on what kind of personality you are.
Negotiation means developing an ability to resolve disputes and conflicts. Effective negotiation involves a willingness to work with other people and to reach its solutions that everyone are comfortable with.
