I ran into DR. Paul this past weekend on the lawn of Iowa State University. I had a chance to ask Ron about H.R. 645 and whether or not Americans are justified in thinking that (The National Emergency Centers Establishment Act' could lead to detainment camps for american citizens during martial law. His response..

What sickens me is that alot of ppl wouldnt believe this, no matter how true it may may be. And its these same ppl who honestly believe that life is about "money"(aka getting "somewhere" in life), my god they that over and over (as if to convince themeselves) that life is truly about pieces of paper that magically is worth less and less while they're taxed more and more over NOTHING. Ppl gotta wake up, I dont want to be the only crtical thinker

@jeffy12 absolutely right. I've spoke to people about this and they think since they got some money in their account then they are free. "Why don't you just get a job like me?" is what they think, like life is about following the rules until you retire and die.

They are setting up the infastructure for the civil unrest that is coming and is jus a few years away. We will have austerity in the US like they have in Europe, Greece and so on. They inflation will get worse as our debt rises and they print money up to bailout the rich. Obama will win his second term and it will be much worse. It would be the same way if Romney was elected. The only person that can pull up back from the brink is Ron Paul.

@PainlessTragedy23 First off, executive orders are not laws. They are official notifications which inform the public how laws (passed by Congress) will be enforced by the executive branch. In order to be lawful, they must reference prevailing law which permits the action. If you can cite the actual law you referenced, please do so.

@DowellForPASenate that really sucks, thats why i follow American politics so closely, because a lot of what happens in the US about this is going to happen here down the road, it's almost like looking into a crystal ball into the future. in all honesty, Amarican govrnment prettty much owns us, really they could walk in and say "you are ours now'' what can we do? nothing. and i get the feeling that they will end up owning us.

I believe the REX 84 program planned to have emergency centers across the border in Canada. Doesn't really matter though, ever since Bush signed the North American Security and Prosperity Act, US, Canada, and Mexico are one in the same. When the domestic crack down starts in the US, there will be a flood of refugees into Canada. I have a feeling they may be pursued.
