The Plymouth , Massachusetts harbormaster observes the fin (bottom left) of a 15 foot basking shark just 30 yards from shore off White Horse Beach in Plymouth Thursday ( 08-19-10 ) evening around 7:00 PM . According to spectators, two 15 foot basking sharks swam very close to the beach. Police and the harbormaster responded to the beach and evacuated beachgoers from the water.
