Story:

William Wilberforce, the most dedicated abolitionist of his time, tries to convince Parliament to pass a bill to abolish the slave trade. Persuaded by his friends William Pitt, Thomas Clarkson, Olaudah Equiano and others he fights for the injustice and freedom of the slaves. Exhausted, and frustrated that he was unable to change anything in the government with his first bill, William becomes physically ill with Colitis and nearly gives up all hope, but when he meets his future wife, Barbara, that changes. William picks up where he left off, and after 20 years of trying to convince Parliament to pass the bill, the bill is finally passed in 1807 which abolishes the slave trade in the British empire forever. Basically, this video shows the many struggle that William Wilberforce endures to abolish the slave trade.
