This rifle once belonged to my great grandfather, Thomas Jefferson "Papa Jay" Holland. Family legend has it that he once shot two deer with one shot using this rifle.

  • Never fire a firearm that isn't fully cleaned. Unless you wish harm to yourself or others nearby.

  • @Bidil6 Not necessarily true. Yes if the barrel was plugged so badly as to cause excessive pressure build-up it could cause some damage. It depends a lot on the particular firearm and ammunition used. I know some folks that NEVER clean their shotguns with no detrimental effects. In any case this rifle is clean as a whistle now :)

  • do you know what year it is .

  • @farmall51 I looked up the serial number once and I think this was from around 1962

  • @plainoldjason How do you look up a serial number? I have a model 94 myself and an old model 67 id like to know the years they were manufactured

  • @34LOLWTF I tried to post a link but youtube won't allow it...try googling "Winchester model 94 ID" and you'll get some hits. Good luck :)
