thanks for this,Czech is one of the sweetest slavic languages,I like the others too,of course,but I find some more pleasant than others,really softer on the years than Russian,whichi is beautiful but quite strong.

Hell yeah, I'd like to learn the rare art of speaking Czech. My Dad was Czech and spoke it some, but I'm totally clueless. What do you recommend?

Hello. Just FYI. If you are rating from the viewpoint of difficulty for an English native speaker to learn Czech, you assessment is probably inaccurate. Czech appears to be rated as Category II by the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the US Department of State. Languages -- such as Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Arabic -- are rated as Category III. Even other Category II languages -- like Georgian or Mongolian or Finnish -- would probably be more difficult for most English speakers.
