And making mountains is easy
Set the hardness low- use some noise, and hold down the clicker, make sure the height is pretty high.
This method is good for smaller details actually.

Whenever I click, it won't do anything but when I hold it down and move it around it raises something in the water :/ What should I do??

There's a way to make it not spaz out; change the hardness of the brush in the modify terrain panel. My favorite setting is 0.01 :3

don't say your awful because your good at it...better than i could do.

@Felldeeen91 File >> Generate Surface Texture. if that doesn't work, try repainting the layer, and repeat generating the surface texture. If you haven't saved your map first, do that.

I have this problem, sometimes my textures ( grass e.g. ) just disappears and gets replaced by somple grayness, and i can't find any other way to fix it than to just start over? any reply would be nice ;)
