@Nationstatesuser Most of his protections were repealed by Republican legislation and many of his organizations were dissolved by former believers who couldn't stomach his Don Quixote presidential campaigns and his disingenuous 'both parties are exactly the same' dogma. Once a crusader who became addicted to the sound of his own voice, ultimately to the detriment of his own legacy.

@RollingOrmond He ran for President 3 times, formed the Center for Study of Responsive Law, helped enact more legal protections for consumers against big corporations, has written many books on the subjects of politics and reform, and has been an outspoken voice against the corporately-run sham of a duopoly that we call a "democracy". How is that "[not] actually [involving] himself in changing anything", exactly?
