  • In addition the subsidy for renewables comes from ecenomic activity. Most ecenomic activity involves CO2 production. Do politicians factor this into their figures.

    Let's not forget the general public : they are also to blame for being influenced by fear followed with wishfull thinking.

    Renewables do not and will not provide base load but most members of the public do not know what base load is. We will have power cuts in future .

  • One speaker here refered to the Portugese government investing 5 Billion in renewables She then directly moved on to talking about wave power giving the impression that the money was being invested in Scottish technology.

    What is the truth how much money is being invested in "Scottish" wave power technology by the Portugese Govt.

    She refers to job oppertunities without considering how many are lost due to subsidy. And these "jobs" only exist with massive subsidy.
