  • I think that someone who is disses Beethoven (or calling him bullshit for that matter) has a huge rod up his/her ass, and only wants to appear modern and relevant, when in fact he/she appears pretentious and retarded.

Beethoven is genius, and spectralism and Grisey are geniuses in their own right.

  • it´s like comparing icecream and wine

I love icecream and I love wine even though they are very different

If Beethoven is Icecream then this is wine

  • Grisey is really interesting.I keep coming back.Thisis how life sounds now. Mozart can be really irrelevant . The Dalbalvie sonnets are jewels. I kep listening to this .I hope people who are not necessarily composers can find these actions, gestures, rhythyms, timings ,sonorities etc food for thought .

  • After listening to Sciarrino and reading about him it just seems there are so many composers out there waiting to be discovered. Grisey sounds pretty fabulous must read about him and spectralism?

  • Gran pianista, Bravo Diana Cibulova!

  • Such wonderful music! Beethoven is just plain bullshit compared to this lovely piece of work!

  • merci bien

  • u should definitely get Les Espaces Acoustiques by Asko ensemble. its a spectracular piece ;)

  • I'm a recent discoverer of Grisey, could anyone advise me on some quality recordings of his work (especially vortex temporum)?

  • cool!Do you have the rest of the piece?
