I want you to listen this clip, Lou Dobbs, on Larry king, now I don't usually watch King, but I was flipping through the channels and came across this interview:

There is a little matter, it seems to me, of being some six years distant from September 11th, with 160,000 of our troops in Iraq, almost 4,000 of them killed, our troops in 40 nations, fighting a global war on terror. And this administration is not secured our borders. And it has not secured our ports. And that's inexcusable. It's unconscionable. And on that basis, border security should be primary.

And what's been done about it so far? I'll tell you. Nothing.

And 'why' you ask? Should I dare say or suggest that the answer's political?

I mean, ask any common-sensed person. How do you secure your home? You lock the door. A border isn't anything different - you put a wall up and shut it down. One way in, one way out. And you put the military on guarding it. After all, that's the federal government's job. But, they don't want it. I guess that job doesn't pay enough. They have to give up the back door bribes, the kickbacks, the votes?




With all the pork-barrel spending, put a fraction of that money aside for bidding contractors - pay them a fair price, and that wall will go up so fast you'll be amazed. There's a wall being built, all right. But, it's made of asphalt, and it's not vertical - it's horizontal, the trans-Texas corridor.

Now back to the votes, from who, the illegals flocking across the border? The dems had a plan for this, too.

SEN. CLINTON: I just want to add, I did not say that it should be done, but I certainly recognize why Governor Spitzer is trying to do it. And we have failed --

SEN. DODD: Wait a minute. No, no, no. You said yes, you thought it made sense to do it.

SEN. CLINTON: No, I didn't, Chris. But the point is, what are we going to do with all these illegal immigrants who are (driving ?) -- (inaudible)?

This failed miserably. They ran away from this faster than they run to thousands of dollars of campaign cash from convicted criminals.

And, in the end, what part of the Constitution are they upholding and defending?

You figure it out.

The U.S. hasn't 'needed' any immigration for
