Just a vid out testing a new cook system not really a review. With a fire ban in effect ( pretty much every summer) I was looking for another way to enjoy a good hot meal while on an overnight trip to a local lake. The Primus ETA Express proved usefull for much more than just boiling water. I will say it is a bit of an investmet at just under a hundred dollars, but seems well built and rugged. Certainly there are other options out there for a backpacking stove, but I liked the way this system all fits together. This has proven to be a great way to cook for me when fire is not an option, and I think my favorite gear purchase of this season !!

This stove folds up, or the supports fold up to form a triangle shape that is 4.5 inches at its widest and 1 and 5/8 inch thick. It is designed to fit in any container capable of holding the typical 8 oz fuel canisters.

Hi...what kind of fuel do you have to have on the unit and how long of a period does it last....one hour?...thanks!

@supercooldude1953 threaded propane/butane canisters, ranging from 4 oz to 12 oz I have had good results with fuel consumption It has a wide range of flame adjustability very low for simmering to jet thruster for boiling water VERY quickly. the setting will determine how long your fuel will last, the trip in this video was a one niter we cooked dinner and breakfast for two people and barely used Id say one third of an 8 oz can. I really like this stove for those times when I cant have fire.
