@DeepSouthWrestling1 i think he`s mellowed out is his old age,,he still has his ego but he laughs at alot more stuff now hehe.

@MrNewpants : I haven't seen it... the last new Danzig I was aware of was his laughable attempt at Ministry/NIN-esque industrial music... late '90s? Early '00s? Whenever... however, no matter how funny or irreverent his current material is, it does not magically erase the past 20-or-so years of Danzig making humorless, "dark", "scary" music... if he really is lightening up these days, well good for him although it might be a decade or two too late...

@DeepSouthWrestling1 have you seen the new danzig videos? how is that taking yourself too seriously? : DD

@DeepSouthWrestling1 Well, I think this became a foundational exploration of morbidity in fast punky yet gothic aesthetics. I can't really compare the two bands, it's like comparing Black Sabbath to The Doors, both are quintessential to me, and I couldn't have lived without the other. I agree that he got too pretentious later, but at this time, he reaped the best out of that attitude, it was really warranted. But in some ways, I'd still say 'November Coming Fire' is the best he has ever done.

@DIYWMD : Although I did see a recent pic of him that made me laugh... he was all decked out in black (natch!) leaving a grocery store... with a giant bag of kitty litter!!!
