  • according to NPR's analysis, the opening chord is actually a guitar and piano in unison, though I can't really hear it.

  • @eddiehead64 Could be a slowed down piano, like the guitar solo.

  • Dear Vpmatt,,,,,You think that the second part of A hard days night was sung by Paul because the notes were too high to sing for John, but I guess that the second part was written by Paul, it's very Mc Cartney in style.....like We can work it Out was vice versa....

  • @ngolomirambu These videos are well-researched you know. Maybe Paul had a bit of input but John definitely wrote the song himself, and basically overnight. And if you know Lennon's voice it is too high for him. He was in a hurry to get the title track before Paul had a chance to write one.
