i have to do that all the time!! and its always crusty salarymen who wont get up when some poor old lady can barely hobble into the train.
although usually it blows their mind when the only guy who offers his seat is the giant white tattooed dude, with gauges, and a mohawk. i have to wait for them to get through the "stunned phase" before they can sit down and relax.

@CognitiveNetwork It's more the salarymen that drink after work with their friends. underage binge drinking is a lot worse in the uk, I don't know about norway

weird that they consider talking on the mobile, in the train, rude, while they use it on dates and also when girls get groped and raped in trains and nobody even blinks an eye...
