Smuggler's Moon Early Footage

Smugglers Moon is a game maker game mafe in the style of a C64 game.
Having crash landed on a dangerous alien world, you must explore your surroundings looking for bits of the ships wreckage and trying to salvage fuel from smuggler hideouts.

This is early footage and while the game engine is pretty much in place, room layouts, obstacles and enemies are certainly subject to change!!

I really like it! My favorite things are the black tiles. You'd think they are just holes you can jump through. I like that. I would put something on each place where you can enter a new room. People might think that if you fall you die. I guess that is what makes it hard though... If this offends you, note that i dont have game maker and this is 50,000,000,000,000 times better than i could ever do...

@SidBraidGriff Thanks for the comments! I'm not in the slightest bit offended by your suggestion, I think you're right in that people automatically equate the bottom of the screen with instant death, and I'll look into a way of demonstrating this isn't the case in this game.

Great looking game. Reminds me a lot of Anna Antrophy's Redder Mars Planet, which itself reminded me of Arc/Nodes of Yesod.
