@CocoCookieClub i had the EXACT same problem
- avoid the rival events
-take good care of your pets and farm
- give Cliff a TON of curry rice until he accepts the blue feather
-have all your upgrades
-get all furniture
- keep yourself healthy
p.s. i own this game but i lost it. thats all i remember though. if it doesnt work then try a couple of different ways
