There are smart people and there are, in layman's terms, "not smart" people. Some of them are old, some of them are young and some of them are somewhere in-between.

Intelligence isn't measured by life experience. That's wisdom you're thinking of, which comes with experience, as does worldly knowledge.

The rebels control nothing like 80% of Tripoli - they are still fighting around the compound and abu salim in the extreme west of the city, where they were 5 days ago. The rest of the city is a chaos of militias, most (but not all) of whom are rebel supporters.

Sky News have plumbed new depths by actually DISTORTING their map of Tripoli to make it look like the battles aren't all in one sector, and that green square is in the middle.

@DeguGamingNetwork I don't know what you mean by "in the greater scheme of things". Age is always relevant, but that doesn't mean it's always significant. You have no way of knowing what most adults can understand and I think it best to not make that kind of assumption. Hope is something you mostly find in yourself, rarely in others. The billions in assets that were frozen during the revolution will be returned to the tribal warlords which, when combined with the imminent bickering that will arise when the tribes try to decide who will take over when everyone's favourite despot is gone, will give them the funds needed to buy enough guns to start a very, very big civil war that could potentially last a very, very long time.

It's not over 'til it's over.
