@AlaokDibar 1957's are better cars... the Packard engines were too heavy. Collectors prefer the Stude 289 with the Paxton superchargers.

The only thing worse than this ad theme would have been to use mimes. That Golden Hawk sure is a looker, though.

The cars looked great but didn't sell well at all. The clowns in the ad didn't help, I would imagine.

Studebaker lost tons of money in 1956, as they had no money to develop truly new cars. Even the Lark of 1959 was based on this chassis with a shortened body.

"Pride of Craftsmanship" shown clearly on this ad. Why can't they make unique cars like this presently.
