1st LIVE DRUM SOLO (Olodum Style) / 1º SOLO DE BATERIA - "Tenzinho Caipira" by Heitor Villa-Lobos

His 2nd live performance and hist 1st DRUM SOLO (at 02:22) in front of an audience!

João Pedro, just turned 9 year-old, playing Villa Lobo´s great "Trenzinho Caipira" at Alegretto Music School 2010 project "Movie Themes", at Nova Lima Theather, along with his drumm school colleagues, on october 24th 2010.
The blond tall guy conducting at the beginning of the video is their (excellent!) teacher, Roberto Costa, sole responsible for all their performances and drum skills.

This is the first time ever that João Pedro played a solo (at 02:22) in front fromt of a LIVE audience and felt their warm welcome.

Seu primeiro SOLO DE BATERIA (02:22) em sua segunda performance ao vivo tocando "Trenzinho Caipira" - em estilo OLODUM - de Heitor Villa-Lobos, juntamente com seus colegas estudantes de bateria da Alegretto Escola de Música, de Belo Horizonte (MG), no evento Alegretto Em Cena 2010, em 24 de outubro de 2010, no teatro de Nova Lima.

O condutor à esquerda é o excelente professor de bateria de todos eles, Roberto Costa.
