What is this about? This is a catalog of the tricks of the trade for writing fiction.
Tropes are devices and conventions that a writer can reasonably rely on as being present in the audience members' minds and expectations.

I probably won't do a full one.
And I missed one word. It should be "This Wiki is".
So here's my attempt at a Talkloid. I just got UTAU the other day, and I was practicing doing English with the subtitles to an MMD video. (Don't wanna be so specific so as to tag the video incorrectly...)
She's still pretty incomprehensible unless you really read and listen a few times.
I think I let her go too fast or short on some syllables.
Even worse, her voice is so monotone. I gotta figure out how to make it more realistically pitched.
Sorry if it's low quality. I had to use the old computer -again-.
*sigh*
I also had no physics so I did the animation aaall by hand. XD; I think the MMD itself has taken longer than the actual Talkloid! But I had no other ideas on how to present it.
I think for comparison, I may do this over again with some other voicebanks I have.

Uta Utane (Commonly referred to as Defoko) uses an artificially synthesized voice. In other words, her voice is completely computer generated. No human voice samples were edited.

She sounds very breathy while she talks. But I guess that can't really be fixed, I heard that Defoko is really hard to use :/
