  • It is an extraordinary movie. This version of Wuthering Heights is the best with Luis Bunuel's one

  • Is this the same Andrea Arnold from 80s kids show No 73?

What was the real animal cruelty? Always disturbing to find it still going on in films, thought it ended after the 80s Italian cannibal movies...

  • I watched Wuthering Heights last Friday and the actual animal cruelty that I witnessed has stayed with me since. Filming scenes where animals are actually mistreated, tortured and killed for the sake of entertainment are completely unacceptable. Andrea Arnold and any other directors who have tortured animals for the sake of entertainment should be ashamed. Boycott Wuthering Heights - send them the message that civilised society is disgusted by thir work.

  • @skc1uk Are you serious? The film seemed like it was made by a student. I liked the occasional close ups of dust and the shakey camera once in a while (and the choice of location was beautiful) however, the film was a pile of shit. The acting was awful, there was no chemistry, no hint of time passing, the characters in their younger days were totally alien to their older counterparts. The use of crude modern language and the overkill of swear words destroyed any kind of intense atmosphere.

  • I saw the film Saturday, What the crew achieved was the most unbelievably accurate sense of what life was like in Yorkshire at the time. On the whole, apart from a few parts that annoyed me intensely and the totally un-necessary music at the end, the film was superb. Both the boys were spellbinding as was the young Catherine.

  • @HBSAM1 solomon top young man

  • Andrea, is inteligent, perceptive, kind ,professional and does not miss a trick. ,I was fortunate to work on wuthering heights (paramedic cover) and met most of the cast and crew all were first class .Great direction great acting great film.Well done to you all.

  • Awww, Andrea crushed me when she said she would not do a "part two". Andrea seems to have such an fantastic understanding of the book and I believe her interpretation may be the best representation of the book. Emily Bronte has needed someone like Andrea to explore the dark side of Wuthering Heights that she conveyed through her masterpiece. I am so excited to see this adaptation! Thank you, Andrea!

  • Kaya fucking Scodelario just looks incredible beautiful !!!

  • You go, girl! A beautiful movie...What a privilege, to be in Sala Grande in Venice yesterday and see it! Congratulations!
