Santana comes from a Mariachi Family, his first instrument was a violin because his dad wanted him to play in his mariachi, but as Carlos describes it himself he fell in love with the electric guitar and started to play in Tijuana's night clubs before crossing over to the States where HE was a dish washer too....do you homework buddy...
