    @noxxie11 unlike a piano (but like a guitar) the same note can be played on different pads on the Push. When you hit a pad pad, other pads that trigger the same note will light up. Have a look at some intro to Push vids for more info...

    The reason i called the performance into question, is that many of the keys light up without them being touched, obviously the description says that part of it is prerecorded, but the lighting up of the buttons indicates that the performance is not only on the same armed track as the backing part, but also on the same clip, the performance is also perfectly quantized for the complexity of the piece, this struck me as unusual and highly impractical, i think it is you who does not understand it.
