This is my first video upload - please excuse the quality!

I'm just trying to find some info on this game - my sister brought it back from Lanzarote for me in 1994. It appears to be some sort of HK pirate, but if anyone knows anything about its origins, please post your comments.
I also have this game on a Turb 7-in-1 GG - From Singapore.

The game looks as if it's a Master System game converted for use on GG. As the screen is blurry (Like it is if you use the Master System converter).

The characters have different names to (Ryu is Lee, Chun-Li is Chun Ja, M.Bison is M.Tison etc.)

Gfx are nice for a handheld, and the characters look very nice for their size. Although Ken is a sprite rip of Ryu, with his Gi changed to red.

You even get an ending! It says "You will always be strong!" or something along them lines. Backgrounds don't resemble to original game and music isn't original either.

I've never seen this game for ROM download on the net, and never seen it anywhere on the net for that matter. All I know is that it could very well me a Master System hack, due to the screen resolution.

Also - on the title screen it says "(c) Sieco... I assume they made it.

Can anyone help me shed any light on this wierd game!?!?

  • Yes - This game has been confirmed as Jang Pung II from Sieco. I have the rom and it still plays as bad as ever :)

  • As I'm assuming this is a Master System hack originally, can anyone tell me if there is a rom of this anywhere?

  • Thanks for your comment! :) Is it just a cheap homebrew?

  • According to SpaceNinja88, Its called Jang Pung 2 released by some Korean software company I think..

  • Nice, do you still have the cart? is it dumped? I have been looking for this original game cart for a long time ;)

  • Maybe.. I used to own this similar cart.. its hacked though.. brings back memories.. I am looking for this game do you know if they sell it in auctions?, thanks

  • i buy this game in spain (malaga) over 95 or 94. great hack, fake names all characters and easy special moves (same for all characters) if you finish the game, you must restart the cinsole, (in my game).

  • i remember this game. i bought my game gear in hong kong in 1994 and they sold me this game with it. it's a curious game with nothing to recommend it. the sprites look decent but the controls are so atrocious that even jumping is difficult. all the special moves are executed using the ryu fireball and hurricane kick motions.
