he was pushed into the crease. thats still on Klemm.
-
oh yea. that much was pretty obvious. It's not the Devils fault that old fuck couldn't win in his first 20 NHL seasons...
-
@ruprockz wait, hold on, I don't know the rules but Gomez was contacting Roy, so Klemm could have been trying to protect his goaltender. Maybe that's why there wasn't a penalty.
-
It was a no goal but it should have been a penilty.
Okay?
-
Refs were pretty bad in the last two games of this series. Could they have been wanting Ray Bourque to get a Stanley Cup?
-
His stick was on the other side of Roy. No way he gets it back over in time to make that play.
-
why

I saw that Gomez had kicked it in as it happened, so I knew it was going to be disallowed

I agree. Klemm's gotta get a holding call if they wipe out the goal. If Gomez doesn't get held, he's got his stick down and easily taps it in. That's how the breaks go sometimes I guess.

It was the right call. Gomez clearly kicked it in, but Jon Klemm could have just as easily been called for holding.
