Oh, wow, could you get any cuter? Haha. Fasting is great, I agree, but not if you eat during the night, - like during the Ramadan. I am fastin twice a year for 7 or 10 days but no eating at all. That IS real fasting. :) xxxx

Okay this is an odd coincidence but Surat al-Nas and Surah al-Falaq are two of my favorite Surahs.I prefer Surah al-Nas in Arabic and Surah al-Falaq in English. I was taught in Pakistan that we fasted to learn patience (though I'm not sure if that's what everyone is taught there) but its something I've held onto and its one of the things I like most about it. Also shamefully I heard Pocketful of Sunshine only thanks to Easy A. Book Recommendation: Remains of the Day or Artist in a Floating World

fasting in Ramadan is because Allah ordered us to fast, for obedience. Allah (swt) says in the quran to fast because it was prescribed on those before you in order to obtain taqwa (fear of Allah). Are you a muslim btw, or just trying fasting lol.

and if u think fasy is kinda hard come here try to fast in saudi arabia
we are used to it but if i go to makkah to pray and do umrah and haj its hotter
but its worth it thank god for everything hope u have enjoy ramdan Spiritually i mean
