The Ozaki Brothers, Yasushi and Hisashi, from Japan performing at ROMP 2009 in Owensboro, KY, 6/26/09. These brothers are credited as being two of the people who introduced bluegrass music to Japanese audiences in the 1950s. Bluegrass music continues to do well in Japan even today.

  • Thank you for commenting. Please tell Mr. Ozaki for me that I enjoyed meeting him and his brother in Owensboro and that I look forward to seeing them again next year.

I very much admire what the Ozakis did for bluegrass music in Japan and consider them to be real pioneers of the music.

I spoke with both brothers at a little jam session under the trees and showed them one of my pictures (still on my camera). I think they enjoyed themselves at ROMP more than anyone else I saw.

    Thanks.

  • Twins? Not sure about the white pants though...lol...but the music and singing is very wonderful...much success in the future.

  • I am acquainted with the Ozaki elder brother.

He is a very famous musician in the United States.

It knew for the first time today.

I will think that it wants you to make an effort for music in the future.

Thank you for a wonderful picture and the sound.

He is very pleased to see here.
