I read a book called Haunted Liverpool and one the subjects was about the bold street time slip an off duty policeman found himself in another time period same place but it was 1940s or 50s and not 1996 enterd a shop and found him self back in the presant time(1996) my guise is that maybe there are holes in time somewhere in the world that drift around like iceburges

Aww I loved this show back in the day and love it now. What I find interesting now though is that Gary was such a likeable character, despite the fact that he was - at the end of the day - committing adultery.
