Fall For Your Type - Jick/Joick - Episode 3

Joe rushed to Nicks aid, crouching down beside him to check if he was alright.
Nick groaned as he held the bridge of his nose.
"Oh god. I'm sorry, it was an accident! Are you okay?!"

The instructor came over, glaring at Joe a little.
"What on earth.. you do know you're not meant to fight each other here, right?"
"I wasn't fighting him! It was a mistake. He moved, and I hit him."
She rolled her eyes and looked down at Nick.
"Are you okay?"

Joe felt the blood rush to his cheeks as he noticed everyone in the room stare at both him and Nick. It was embarassing.
Nick gave a thumbs up with one hand to the instructor.
"Y-Yeah, I just. Ow."
"Okay, well it looks like you're unfit to continue for now so you and your partner can come back another time."

Thankful that he could leave the room, Joe held his hand out for Nick to take so he could pull him up.
Once he did that, he placed an arm around Nicks shoulders and hurriedly rushed the two of them out of the class room. They then headed back into the work out section where all the machinery was.
It was almost deserted though, cause everyone had gone to the boxing class.

Nick, still grabbing his nose, sat himself down on one of the benches.
Joe sat beside him.
"Dude, I'm so sorry. I seriously didn't mean to. Want some ice?"
Nick shook his head and released his nose, revealing a small bruise start to form on his bridge. It wasn't too serious though.
"I'll survive... I guess I know what you can give me though."
"Yeah?" Joe asked, happy that Nick hadn't decided to kick his ass.
"Did you drive here?"
Joe frowned a little, "Yes..."
Nick looked at Joe hopefully.
"Cool. Um.. think you could maybe give me a lift home? I walked it here and I kinda don't want to walk back. I'm lazy. And in pain. Thanks to you punching me. You."
Joe smiled a little, "No need to try and make me feel guilty. Yeah, that's okay. I suppose I owe you anyway. Where do you live?"

The boys collected their things from their lockers and made their way out to Joe's car in the parking lot.
It was nothing fancy. Just a simple blue hatchback that Joe received from his parents for his 19th birthday, two years ago. He loved it though.

"This it?" Nick asked.
Joe nodded proudly, opening up the boot to put his and Nicks stuff in.
"Cute."
"Takes after me, now hop in."
Nick rolled his eyes.

"Aaand, it's just here." Nick recited, pointing at a VERY small, ratty house.
It looked pretty terrible, but Joe of course didn't say anything.
"Awesome. There you go, then."
Nick got out of the car and grabbed his stuff, before walking up to Joe's rolled down window.
"Thanks for the ride."
Joe nodded, "Sure thing. See you around at the gym, I guess..."
He found himself not really wanting to leave Nick just yet. They'd just met, but Joe wanted to know so much more about him. He was intrigued.
"Yeah, for sure. Pick me up tomorrow?"
Surprised, Joe raised his eyebrows. Well.. that was forward.
"Seriously?"
Nick looked at Joe expectantly, not showing any signs of joking.
"Okay.. you're serious. Um. Y-Yeah, I guess.. I can do that."
"Cool. Give me your number, I'll call you."
"WOAH," Joe gave out a nervous laugh. "You're so.. fast."
Nick shrugged. "Well, it looks like we're already gonna be friends anyway. I don't see the point of slowing down the process. Do you?"
Joe pursed his lips together, "I guess not...."
"So, give me your number then."

Dang. Seriously, had this been me, it would have taken a lot longer to get a phone number from someone I just met.

Anyway, bluntly stating it, personality-wise, Joe is cute and shy and adorable, and Nick is just. Hot. :)
