Here's a little story to this song (maybe) no one knows. A day or so after Paul wrote this song he rings up Lindsay Field (John Farnham's backup vocalist) and asks him over to his apartment. Lindsay is the first person to hear it. Paul asks Lindsay: "So what do you think?". Lindsay was pretty much choked up by this stage and told Paul that this song must end up on the album. The rest is history.

Living in the uk now xmas time the radio stations over play the usual xmas songs like Fairytale in NY,Do they know it's xmas,etc etc,but this festive season i'll send a copy of this song to the BBC and insist they play this classic aussie xmas song.
