My fc twin console won't power up. When I go to turn it on, nothing happens. The light doesn't turn on and it doesn't make any sounds.

  • there is an issue inside the plug with a tiny white box on top of the coil that fails its not the fc twin. Granted the system isn't great what do you want for 40 bucks.

  • i have 2 fc twins and neither one will work , one won't read nes and the other won't turn on

  • fc twins suck

  • i have the same problem with my retro duo.

  • mine did the same thing

  • I have the same problem and i got mine form troll and toad.

  • Mine worked great, but all of the sudden, SNES games won't read. I played Tecmo Super NBA Basketball not long ago. It worked. Then, my Super GB read, but not the game. I cleaned the game, nothing worked. Then, this morning, the Super GB worked with game. After that, it broke. Then, I suddenly played Saturday Night Slammasters with no problem. Later, the game wouldn't start up. I didn't even remove the catridge. Has this every happened to someone?

  • You probably have one of the earlier FC Twins like the one Jeremysgiants has(says FC Twin instead of Yobo Gameware behind the NES cartridge slot). Those are notorious for breakdown on the NES side. If you have one with FC Twin behind the cartridge slot, get rid of it and get one with the Yobo Gameware logo. If it's one with the Yobo Gameware logo on it, then that's the first case of bad NES boards in those FC Twins I've ever heard of. All I can say is replace your unit. When did you get it?

  • my fc twin wont play nes games

  • I would assume that your power supply is defective. Got a multimeter? If you do, check to see if the power supply is actually outputting any power to the unit(use voltage reading). Put the negative(black) in the middle of the barrel and the positive(red) on the outside. If you don't get a reading, you need to replace your power supply. Since you have a 1st-gen FC Twin, you need a power supply with DC 10V 850mA rating or similar with negative center, positive outer as the polarity.
