May I recommend, if possible, you download Audacity to extract the audio...or some other thing to extract the audio...then put it together with the conversion. I think it looks good.

Agreed. I don't know why do people put these things. We want to see the video, not a watermark.

Yeah, you should generally avoid cropping. Bad practice, especially for video.

There is a logo w/ sound, search ABC Pictures International (Rare 1970's verison) or go on DanDMan16's user page. THEN you'll find it.
