UPDATE ON DRUM SET
I have cracked both crashes and both splashes and my china
I now have a 19" and a 20" sabian aa metal-x crash and a 10" metal-x splash I still use both of the splashes and the china but I intend on switching to all sabians

I despise the Rev with a raw, seething passion, but I know when I'm beat when saying that that is a pretty wicked drum set... Almost as wicked as mine ;D

@stallionduck87 Welp... I'll admit he was a decent drummer, but nothing special. For a good period of time, all the little scene kids wanted his seed all over their faces. My personal opinion, he was a GOOD drummer, but not the percussive Jesus F-ing Christ that everyone proclaimed him to be.

@stallionduck87 Mostly the ones I hear on the radio. They played "Nightmare" to a bitter pulp so everytime I hear that song I just get pissed. But out of all their songs, the only two that don't annoy me are "Bat Country" and "Welcome To The Family" Their other songs just aren't that great. I've had friends attempt at getting me into them, but it's just not gonna happen man...

@xxxPinkyGSterxxx From what you're telling me, it doesn't really seem like you're giving him a fair chance. I don't think you can base your opinion primarily off of the few songs of theirs that you've heard. If you consider yourself an open-minded person, then you'll check out "Burn it Down," "Blinded in Chains," "Crossroads," and " I Won't See You Tonight Part 2." But I hope you'll take what I said into consideration because he obviously wasn't the best but he was a hell of a drummer.

@DrThrashmaster His drumming wasn't special... at all... But I can respect the hell outta the whole him being a nice guy thing. I don't know much about him as a person, but he seemed like an overal decent character. And I can always respect a good guy.

@xxxPinkyGSterxxx people adored him they way they did because of the person he was not for his drumming (which was amazing) Jimmy was an amazing person. He was everyones best friend even if you never met him. he had a big heart..and thats why we all loved him

the only thing that bothers me is that i would have two mounted toms on the right bass drum and the smallest tom on the left bass drum just so that my floor toms are closer to my mounted toms so its easier to move around the kit

@xxxPinkyGSterxxx mate i won't have a go at you, you're entitled to your opinion, but i highly recommend checking out some of his work on the b-side of their self-titled album, called 'diamonds in the rough'. it's beyond me why some tracks there didn't make it on the album because Jimmy seriously shows his real potential and lets loose his creativity. and as for hating him because of the fanboys, i know it can get annoying, but don't hate the player hate the game haha
