@greysanatomypade I agree 100%. Having a child changes your life forever and it's emotionally devastating on some people - literally it ruins their lives. But it's soooo taboo to discuss it. I'm glad the issue was raised in this show, and that Cristina made the right choice.

@BedazzledXX im15 but i still kno what im tlking about yes im against it when ppl use it as a form of birth control and sometimes i wonder y woman dont just have it and give it up for adoption. Im slightly against the way Christina keeps using abortion as if it a back up plan but i get it she is not in the right time in her life to be a mom. But in certain cases like rape i think a woman has the right to abortion.I may not like the idea of abortion for me but if others want it its there right.

In response to angelgirl02368: That right was given to women to be used w/ sense. Not in an indiscriminate way. It must be used exceptionally in rare, rare occasions and never as Cristina is doing: as a contaceptive methode. In our grandmothers's time there was no option.Therefore they never should be criticized for doing that. But, today w/ so many options available there is no reason to disregard human life and others feelings, in this case like her poor man.

@greysanatomypade yet her speech made no sense, if her mom hadn't wanted to have her, why didn't she leave her to Meredith's dad? Meredith's mom achieved greatness despite having Meredith. The main reason why Ellis Grey resented Meredith was the fact that Ellis thought her lover wouldn't leave his wife because she had a daughter. Yet Meredith, after all, didn't turn out to be that bad.
