  • So why I called it a 482 I have no idea. A friend had just had a 482 put together so I must of just put down 482 on accident.

  • The crank is a steel 425 crank that has been off set ground to 4.320. so with a bore of 4.186 (4.126 +.060) and a stroke of 4.320 you get 475ci...

    4.186 x 4.320 x 8=475

  • It's 2 inch hooker super comps, with 3 inch tube and 3 inch, 2 chamber flowmasters.

  • what makes it a 482 ci motor im trying to figure out how big mine is its a 1970 455 block punched 40 over 10.1 trw forged pistons and a comp cam 284 cam big valve c heads performer intake and 850 holley

  • It's got a stroked 425 crank and is .060 over. A 455 .030 is a 461 so .040 is a 463

  • I'm planning on building a 496 stroker.......any tips or prolbems you encountered during this build up?

  • Be ready to spend some cash. Don't skimp to save a few dollars

  • Can I get a complete build sheet of this motor I'm thinking about building me one with my 68 455 engine

  • @badassolds If you used a 4.25" stroke on the crank, how'd you get 482 ci? The factory stroke on a 455 is 4.25."

  • i'm digging that setup

  • i gonna rebuild my 442-69 whit the 400 engine.

what camshaft can you recomended for me? i have look at summit.com and the have like a million difrent(sorry for the bad english..im from sweden)

  • 442 rules!

  • i have cutlass parts for sale 71-72 im n dallas leave me a message on my page

  • call Bill Trovato at BTR Performance or buy his book if you want to build an Olds.

  • @manoxide83 the easiest way to figure out cubic inches is to use this solution... bore X bore X .7854 X stroke X the number of cylinders= cubic inches.
