Black Duck Eating Peas Swimming In Bathtub

So Miracle,our Cayuga Duck, is now 6 months old. He has been moved out in the backyard and has his own little raccoon proof pen for nighttime, a 'pond' to swim in and the run of the yarn to get all the bugs he can eat.

However, he's still attached to us and on stormy days, when the lightning and thunder is REAL BAD, he gets scared and wants in. On this particular day, he had a treat and I let him in and put him in the tub and fed him his favorite treat--frozen peas. He loved it.

They are always black, but as they get older and their feathers come in, you can see the beautiful fluorescent blues and greens.
