Love, LOVE this woman! She is absolutely right about gay marriage. The religious rights' beliefs needs to stay out of the government's policies. It is not their place. What ever happened to separation church and state?

Why don't we, as a solution, give gays all the rights that other people have, only we'll call it by different name so as not to offend other people. So instead of being ''married" they will be ''butt buddies''. They will have all the rights and status married people have only they're not married, they're butt buddies! It's genius! :D Everybody's happy! :D

@Reine1944 You just made their point, that gay rights are not important, gay people are not important. They are second class citizens and should remain so until their is world peace?! It is not the only issue Americans think of, it is one of many and is no less important than any other disaster as their is a suicide epidemic as a result of homophobic bullying

@SEALin12 yes, however, think about it. What if that pregnancy poses a health threat for the mother? What if the mother was raped? Even if she just wasn't being careful, bringing a child into the world that will be neglected and raised improperly is worse than having an abortion. Yes, you may say that the mother should give birth and then have the child be adopted. What if she's a teenager? Life does not begin at conception. There are many studies out there that proves this.

@MIA5029 Ok, so what you are telling me is that because the tree that is planted outside my house is sans brain and heart, it is not alive? Did you skip high school biology? Just because something doesn't have a brain or a heart does not mean it is not alive. It still has a purpose, just like my tree. Two cells have fused together their chromosomes thus creating a new being. Who are we to say that being doesn't deserve the right to become someone great?

@SEALin12 im guessing you're talking about abortion? let me explain something: abortion is illegal after a certian point in the pregnancy...when it is legal, what is being aborted is not a fetus, let alone a person....it is a few cells with no heart and no brain..there is no life there....biologically, nothing is being killed because there is no life to begin with. just sayin...

The only right that gays do not have is marriage...However they can eat in the same restaurants, they don't have to use seperate bathrooms, they aren't forced to sit in the back of the bus, etc-I believe gays are no different then the rest of us and are entitled to marriage too, BUT DO NOT compare this so called "suffering" to the segregation of blacks-Its offensive and ignorant.

Ok, so let me get this straight. Every person has equal rights, except for those people in the womb of a woman? Last I check she is pro choice. Just sayin...
