Dead Iphone Please help

My 3GS completely died. It won't charge on any device. Before I take it in for a replacement I wanted to see if there is any hope to repair because I didn't get to download a ton of pictures and videos plus my itunes. Do you think you can help.

@betsyflores711 if its not getting a charge at all: first try a new sync cord. even though its expensive i say go with apple. if that doesnt work then it could mean that ur dock connector ( the bottom part of the phone) is bad and needs to be replaced

Yh I have a problem :( my iPhone 3G pisses me off my camera isn't working I know how to fix it though and the battery can't last long :( I have to press two buttons to switch it on and if I switch it off -just using the off button- press the menu button after like 2 minutes the iPhone is dead :/ is it the battery ?I have a feeling it is and please reply :))

@mulitcolouredcandy first go to settings -- general - reset--- rest all settings if that doesnt work restore the phone to an original apple firmware thats not jailbroken or just hook ur phone up to itunes and hit restore

@clavats94 soor for the late response but anything greater than 4.3.3 , currently, can't be jailbroken. If this is the first time your jailbreaking your stuck until a new jailbreak, but if not then you can try to downgrade the firmware with tiny umbrella. google it. its a simple process.

@kingsitm024 i have a big problem, after i jailbreak my iphone 3 gs, wont let me turn it on, and when i connect it to mi pc and itunes, it saids that its on recovery mode :C

hold the power button and the home button and it should turn on cause ur on dfu mod or something

@betsyflores711 alright my friends dads iphone wont charge or turn on even if plugged in the screen wouldnt turn on or anything at this moment it is now showing that it is charging so what you need to do is hold the home button and plug in your cord that should help its not showing that its in recovery mode so you should be good to do that
