This is a folk song I wrote back in the eighties after my younger brother was killed in action in then South West Africa at the height of the South African Bush War

  • Thanks Dave; a beautiful tribute to your Boet. May he continue to RIP.

  • @misterbaleize Thanks a stack! Take care of yourself, my man!

  • The "Bats" were the the ultimate force.

Without them we would have suffered many more casualties.

    Respect .

  • @kaffirbasher1 Thanks, man!

  • Poignant.

    I'm sorry.

I wish things could have turned out differently.

Just know for what it's worth, your brother had around him, men/boys just like him, who all, without exception, called him brother too.

The sadness and hurt ran deep watching this tribute.

I gave you facts, and where you can verify that facts, you on the other hand chose to make allegations without stating any facts(are you a politician perhaps?).

Proof me wrong by bringing me facts not rhetoric.

  • Part 4/4

All in all about 1700 Blacks were killed over a span of 46 years by whites in SA. Compare to 19300 killed by blacks in the same period. Furthermore that 1700 INCLUDES 600 insurgents killed during a SADF raid on their base in Angola. From this base they infiltrated SWA and planted bombs and specially mines, mines which mostly killed. black civilians.

I suggest you Google "The Killing Fields Of Post-Apartheid South Africa " written by a BLACK journalist named Vusile Tshabalala.

  • Part 3/4

The killings during Apartheid was mostly black on black killings. Of the 21000 that died under apartheid only 1700 was white on black violence. Which leaves 19200 killed by blacks. Not my figures, these are from the Human Rights Commission appointed by the current black dominated ANC government to investigate crimes under Apartheid. So it is the "victims" of Apartheid that supplies these info. And if we can't believe the victims, who can we believe then? Hopefully not the politicians!

  • Part 2/4

You'd be far pressed to bring ANY evidence to bear that would support your claim that whites (Boer or Afrikaner) raped or murdered blacks as part of your so called white on black genocide in the history of SA.

Not even the Truth and Reconciliation Council of the current ANC government ever made such claims in their highly biased conclusions. Some facts for you regarding the so called genocide that was committed under Apartheid:
