@JJoeC300 People spend so much on equipment because they think since it cost more money, it must be a better ball. While in retrospect, the high cost, higher performance, however it's really just the bowler. Heck, I can grab my dad's 16 year old Columbia 300 Shadow and still play well with it. The higher price balls just offer more hook, backend control, and ability to handle heavier oiled lanes. It's crazy on some prices. Some are worth it, some not.

I met Robert at his first telecast tournament (at Cal Bowl). Nice guy. Too bad the PBA isn't what it used to be.

1. There are bowlers out there that believe that if something costs more it must be better, even if it isn't.

2. There are bowlers out there that want to show everyone how much money they have.

You'll notice neither of these reasons help you score better.

we are paying maybe 8-90 + a 200 shipping cost.. so 280 + for a ball.

He's never lived up to his talent. It's not the rev rate, but how amazingly clean his release is getting those revs. Best physical game I've ever seen.
