One of the finest games of Rugby. I was at the game. I can still remember the singing of Tom Jones' Delilah by the Welsh fans 20 mins after the end rising up through the stadum as I headed to the local.

God all these arguments are really silly. England had a great team in 2003 but we gave them a big scare. The record between the two nations over the last 6 years favours Wales because we have won more of the encounters. But your only as good as your last game. England have the easiest pool at the world cup so I reckon they should get to the semis and I'd never write off the sneaky... It would be nice to see us do some real damage at a world cup. you don't win 2 grand slams in 3 years by luck.

In one game. Italy should have beaten them and Wales and we put 50 past them. What does that mean?? Very little. BTW I would put Ireland right up there. Very good side. Would they have beaten England at Twickenham? Probably not IMO but it would have been close.

BTW I thought our victory at your home was more straight forward than the scoreline suggested.

But fair one, France and Ireland are still genuine threats to the Southern Hemisphere.

Like I said, two years ago Wales was better. But don't make me laugh in '98 we put over 60 past you, before the 07 World cup we demolished you with ease. Wales has never really thrashed England in my lifetime.

Yes, you are amazing for a small country, but nobody would ever ever bet on Wales going deeper into a RWC than England since 1991. Like I said, you were never going to beat us in '03 cos we were a far superior team. No question. Only a blind nationalist would disagree.
