I'm trying a stretching machine and it went much worse than I thought it would.

  • @dannyboj Can you please tell me the name of this machine? How about a link? Thanks.

  • @MickScarborough Lol. "Dangerous advice." Are you always this fearful and prone to hysteria? "Light rocking" doesn't equal "catastrophic tendon rupturing."

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives But they should not give out dangerous advice if they dont know what they're talking about.

  • @MickScarborough Not everyone is an expert ballerina like yourself.

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives Please do not listen to this person, you will get injured. NEVER bounce

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives I dont think you understand stretching. Its the muscle you are trying to lengthen, not tendon and ligaments. This machine does help.

  • @TheatreFracture My problem with the machines is that I believe there comes a point where it is no longer really stretching the tendon or ligaments anymore, but rather it is trying to unplug the tendon or ligament from the bone or muscle it is connected to. I don't think the machine will aid you too much.

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives Oh, great, thanks alot1 I am considdering buying one of these. I am 20 and have been dancing ballet for about two years yet still cant quite seem to get down into the splits, do you think this will aid me?

  • Actually in the past six months I've come more around to ballistic or dynamic stretching. I think the static stretching with machines is a bit unhealthy, it seemed to work well at first, but I don't think connective tissues were meant to stay stretched that long, a stretch needs to have some light rocking or bouncing added to it, at least that's my current theory.

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives Will it help you get into both the box splits and the regular splits?
