@MickScarborough Lol. "Dangerous advice." Are you always this fearful and prone to hysteria? "Light rocking" doesn't equal "catastrophic tendon rupturing."
@WeAllJuggleKnives I dont think you understand stretching. Its the muscle you are trying to lengthen, not tendon and ligaments. This machine does help.
@TheatreFracture My problem with the machines is that I believe there comes a point where it is no longer really stretching the tendon or ligaments anymore, but rather it is trying to unplug the tendon or ligament from the bone or muscle it is connected to. I don't think the machine will aid you too much.
@WeAllJuggleKnives Oh, great, thanks alot1 I am considdering buying one of these. I am 20 and have been dancing ballet for about two years yet still cant quite seem to get down into the splits, do you think this will aid me?
Actually in the past six months I've come more around to ballistic or dynamic stretching. I think the static stretching with machines is a bit unhealthy, it seemed to work well at first, but I don't think connective tissues were meant to stay stretched that long, a stretch needs to have some light rocking or bouncing added to it, at least that's my current theory.
@dannyboj Can you please tell me the name of this machine? How about a link? Thanks.
